Events coming up at The Pantiles
January
- Farmers’ market - Saturday 17th January. The Farmers’ market serves up delicious and fresh produce.
- TV’s Paul Church visits The Pantiles Books & Papertole to do free craft demonstrations on 24th January from 10am – 4pm.
February
Farmers’ market – Saturday 7th and 21st February
- There will be a half-term activity for children in The Corn Exchange. Dates, time, activity and cost TBC.
- TV’s Paul Church visits The Pantiles Books & Papertole to do free craft demonstrations on 28th February from 10am – 4pm.
March
- Farmers’ market – Saturday 7th and 21st March
- On 29th March there’ll be free musical entertainment on the bandstand to treat shoppers and visitors. Time and band TBC.
- The Pantiles is taking part in the Kent Big Day Out. There will be 50 tickets for a Ghost Walk on Fri 27th March, and 50 tickets for children’s craft workshops on Sat 28th March up for grabs. Times TBC
April
- Farmers’ market – Saturday 4th and 18th April
- A new performance artiste will perform around The Pantiles for shoppers and visitors on Saturday 4th April. Performer and times TBC
Easter Weekend
- Vintage cars will line the beautiful walkways of The Pantiles for a weekend long vintage car show. Visitors can enjoy browsing among rare and well known cars from yesteryear. Dates and times TBC
- Children’s activities will also take place over Easter weekend. Activities, dates, times and cost TBC.
Other events in 2009
- The summer jazz season which was hugely popular in 2008 will be back with a great line up of local and acclaimed jazz acts with everything from smooth jazz to Latin funk. Dates and performers TBC.
- The annual Local & Live musical festival on August bank holiday weekend which attracted more than 7,000 visitors last year will be back again with a great line up of local, original music. Exact dates and times TBC.
- Visitors can also expect entertainment with street performers and musical ensembles to suit every taste out an about around The Pantiles. Performers TBC.
